Position Overview
This role is designed for a qualified nursing infusion professional with specific experience in oncology and medical infusion. The selected candidate will provide high-quality patient care in an ambulatory setting while collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver effective treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer infusions according to established protocols and patient needs.
- Monitor patients during treatment, noting any changes in their condition.
- Document patient care and treatment details accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and care management.
Qualifications
- Infusion experience is required.
- A strong preference for candidates with ambulatory EPIC experience.
- Current nursing license required for practice.
Work Schedule
This position offers a schedule of four ten-hour shifts per week, including one weekend per month to maintain consistency with existing staff.
