Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical/Telemetry (MS/Tele) unit. The ideal candidate will provide patient-centered care for individuals across the adult to geriatric spectrum, managing a diverse range of diagnoses such as sepsis, urinary tract infections (UTI), acute kidney injury (AKI), pneumonia, cholecystitis, and congestive heart failure (CHF).

Shift Information

• Night Shift: 3x12 hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within specialty and other units as necessary

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the MS/Tele unit.
• Monitor vital signs and patient conditions, adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Utilize EPIC for patient charting and documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• 1 year of nursing experience required.
• First-time travelers accepted.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• NIHSS certification is required.

Additional Information

Holiday work is required as scheduled; major and minor holiday requests should be submitted at the time of offer. Contract length is 18 weeks, starting on 10/26/2026. This position holds a patient-nurse ratio of 1:5 in a unit with a total of 29 beds.
