Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Cardiac Telemetry to join our team. This position involves providing exceptional care to patients with cardiac and telemetry needs, primarily focusing on adult patients experiencing various cardiac diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to telemetry patients with primary or secondary cardiac diagnoses, as well as stable cardiac catheterization patients.
• Monitor patients remotely using the Hicuity System for telemetry monitoring.
• Administer specialty drips including Cardizem (non-titratable), Amiodarone, Heparin, Protonix, and Lasix.
• Utilize medical equipment such as Zebra portable phones, Alaris IV pumps, and Coviden Feeding Pumps.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and progress in compliance with facility protocols.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification is required.
• Ability to float within the specialty as needed, including lower acuity units.
• Willingness to work holidays and every other weekend as scheduled.

Additional Information

The unit has an average daily census of 25 patients with a total of 22 available rooms/beds. Join our team in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to those in need.

Shift Details

This position requires a commitment to a 3-day workweek, working 12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30.
