Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Cardiac Cath Lab. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
Shift Schedule
This position offers a day shift schedule of 4 ten-hour shifts from 06:30 to 17:00. Availability for holiday shifts and weekend call shifts is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in procedures such as left heart catheterizations, STEMIs, PCI, right heart catheterizations, and pericardiocentesis.
- Administer sedation and circulate during cardiac procedures.
- Manage and monitor patients throughout procedural processes.
- Required to float within the specialty and potentially to other units within sister facilities.
- Participate in rotations that include on-call responsibilities; must respond within a 30-minute timeframe.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- Experience in pacemaker placements, Bi-V, ICDs, and Inari for PE cases is preferred.
- Proven ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and collaborative environments.
Additional Information
Scrub colors will be provided. The Cath Lab includes 2 rooms with an average daily census ranging from 4 to 8 patients. The patient age range is predominantly adults.
