In this position, you will play a crucial role as a member of the patient care team. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the management and delivery of patient care to assigned patients in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, operating within the scope of practice outlined by the New York State Nurse Practice Act.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing services.
• Delegate and assign responsibilities appropriately to other team members.
• Lead the interdisciplinary team in collaboration with the attending physician.
• Manage patient care efficiently in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit.

Position Requirements:

• Two or more years of experience in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is required.
• Proven experience with morning admissions, blocks, and recovery is essential.
• Experience with procedural sedation is required.
• Proficiency in using EPIC software is mandatory.
• Previous travel nursing experience is highly preferred.
• A valid New York State nursing license is required, along with current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Permanent address must be provided, matching driver's license/state ID.
• Availability to work holidays and during requested time off must be noted prior to uploading.

Additional Information:

• Dress Code: Personal scrubs of any color are allowed—no designs or cartoons, and no hoodies.
• Non-billable orientation will require an 8-hour commitment.
• Cancellation policy stipulates that the facility can cancel up to five shifts per 13-week contract with a two-hour notice.
