Job Description

The Occupational Therapist organizes and conducts medically prescribed Occupational Therapy programs, aiming to assist individuals in enhancing their quality of life following injury, disease, or the loss of a body part. This role considers patients' gender, age, cultural differences, and educational needs.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized therapy programs based on patient needs and medical prescriptions.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about therapy techniques and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited professional course of education recognized by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
• Current licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Montana.
• Amiable personality with the ability to make sound judgments.
• Empathetic and understanding attitude towards patients.
• Modality Endorsement per Montana Guidelines Requirement.

Additional Information

Holiday coverage is required for this position. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field.
