Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Postpartum

Unit Description

Join a dynamic team in the Postpartum unit where compassion and expertise come together to provide exceptional care to new mothers and their infants. This role requires a commitment to high standards of nursing practice in a supportive environment.

Schedule

3x12 hour shifts with day/night rotation
Every other weekend required
Start date options: November 2 or November 16 (November 2 preferred)

Qualifications

Current RN license and certification in the state of practice
Previous experience in postpartum nursing preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Role Responsibilities

Assess and monitor the health and wellbeing of postpartum patients
Provide education and support to new mothers regarding infant care and breastfeeding
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Maintain accurate and timely patient records
