• 5x8s, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Friday OR 4 days/week, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
• 40 hours/week
• No call or weekend requirement

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• EPIC experience preferred
• Valid North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy license required
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

Position Responsibilities

1. Provide patient assessments and treatments:
   • Perform initial evaluations and assess motor and developmental skills to determine deficits.
   • Evaluate patients' physical and mental abilities to develop realistic rehabilitation plans.
   • Document treatment plans, patient progress, and maintain patient confidentiality.
   • Facilitate patient mobility and manage treatment equipment.
   • Adapt environments to enhance functional mobility and address patients’ needs.
   • Regularly evaluate treatment effects and adjust plans to maximize benefits.
2. Provide excellent customer service:
   • Educate patients and families about treatment procedures for home care.
   • Train patients and caregivers on mobility skills and care techniques.
   • Promote adjustments in patients’ living or working environments based on their needs.
3. Teamwork:
   • Coordinate care with medical professionals and provide training to families and team members.
   • Supervise supporting staff and assist with workload as necessary.
   • Mentor students and new staff and assist in their orientation.
4. Professional Development:
   • Maintain clinical competencies and seek professional growth opportunities.
   • Participate in continuing education and quality improvement activities.
   • Build positive relationships with the healthcare team and community.

Patient Care

Manage patient scheduling with primarily one-on-one therapy, ensuring quality assessments and treatments. In rare cases, double-booking may occur for evaluations.
