Shift Details

This position offers a guaranteed 48-hour work week on 12-hour night shifts. There is a requirement to work every other weekend and participate in a holiday rotation. Please note that there are no on-call duties associated with this role.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Stepdown care, you will provide comprehensive nursing care for adult and geriatric patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating total nursing care for patients.
• Participating in patient and family education to promote health and well-being.
• Providing leadership by collaborating effectively with ancillary nursing staff and other members of the patient care team.
• Maintaining high standards for professional nursing practice within the clinical setting.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of Med Surg experience.
• Cardiac drip experience is required.
• Experience in dementia management is required.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is preferred.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR is required.
• A valid New Hampshire RN license or a Compact license is mandatory.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association are required.
• NIH Stroke Certification is also required.

Additional Information

This role may require floating to other units as needed. Travelers must have their own vehicle, as public transportation options are limited in this area. Please be aware that block scheduling will not be accommodated for this position, and any requests for time off must be submitted with your application.

Dress Code

Travelers are expected to wear professional scrubs without any logos.

Compliance Requirements

All medical and occupational health compliance items must be completed within 5 days of offer acceptance.
