Description

Cardio Echo Sonographer

Shift Information

Monday - Friday 10:30 am - 7:00 pm; no call and no holidays.

Minimum Experience

1 year of relevant experience required.

Certifications/Requirements

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
Allied Health Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(R)) or equivalent.
Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or in the process of obtaining such certification.

Job Description

The Cardio Echo Sonographer is responsible for performing cardiovascular ultrasound examinations, exercising professional judgment throughout the procedures to ensure the safety and comfort of patients. The role requires precise technical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct and interpret cardio echo sonograms to aid in the diagnosis of cardiac conditions.
Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients during all procedures.
Maintain professional standards and adhere to best practices in patient care.
