Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CVOR Tech to join our surgical services team. This role involves providing exceptional care in the cardiovascular and thoracic surgical unit, with a focus on transplant and robotic surgeries.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in various surgical procedures within the cardiovascular/thoracic specialty.
• Provide support to the surgical team, ensuring a sterile and safe environment.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes during operations.
• Handle surgical instruments and equipment efficiently.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Schedule

This position requires working a schedule of 3 shifts of 12 hours each from 06:30 to 19:00. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required based on departmental needs.

Holiday Work Requirements

Travelers are expected to work during major holidays that fall within their assignment period, with specific expectations based on the number of holidays:

• One major holiday: Expected to work.
• Two major holidays: Expected to work both.
• Three major holidays: Expected to work two out of the three.

Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CVOR Tech role.
• New travelers are welcome to apply; first-time travelers accepted.
• Successful candidates must pass a clinical screening to ensure clinical fit.

Compliance

Full compliance with general requirements is mandatory to ensure a timely start. Non-compliance may result in postponement of at least two weeks due to orientation scheduling.

Other Details

• Maximum Requested Time Off (RTO): 7 days.
• Local applicants are accepted and will receive the same rate as travelers.
