Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for emergency care and a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
• Assess, plan, and implement patient care based on individual needs across all age ranges, from infants to geriatrics.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage complex patient diagnoses.
• Maintain an effective nurse-to-patient ratio, supporting up to five patients with lower acuity levels.
• Participate in departmental activities, including rotating shifts based on the needs of the department.
• Float to sister facilities as required within the specialty.

Schedule Details

• 36-48 hours per week.
• Shifts: 3x12 or 4x12 hour rotations.
• Primary requirement for night shifts (19:00-07:30 / 15:00-03:30).
• Every other weekend and holidays as scheduled are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting.
• First-time travelers are accepted.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, CPI (to be completed during onboarding). NRP and TNCC are preferred.
