Job Overview

An exciting opportunity is available for an Operating Room Registered Nurse with a strong background in surgical settings. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience and skills across various surgical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergency situations as necessary.
• Perform preoperative and postoperative assessments.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and reports within the EMR system.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting.
• Charge experience is required.
• Pediatric surgical experience is preferred.
• Experience in Neuro, Ortho, ENT, General, and Eye surgeries is required.
• Ability to scrub is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Current certifications in BLS and PALS.
• Proficiency in EMR, specifically Epic.

Work Schedule

This position will offer a Monday to Friday schedule with 8-hour shifts. There may be a combination of 8-hour and 10-hour shifts, but no 12-hour shifts will be offered.
