Description

Oncology Registered Nurse (RN)

Unit Information

The position is based in a 12-bed unit dedicated to oncology patients, providing specialized care that includes chemotherapy and management of chest tubes.

Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of recent and relevant nursing experience is required.
First-time travelers are welcomed.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is required.
Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license must be held at the time of submission.
Chemo (ONS/ONCC) certification is mandatory at the time of submission.

Key Responsibilities

Provide compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients.
Administer chemotherapy and manage patient care plans.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Monitor patient progress and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
