Job Summary

The Cardiac Ultrasound Technician is responsible for performing high-quality echocardiogram studies while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. The technician will work both independently and collaboratively within a team to ensure optimal patient care and service.

• Perform echocardiogram studies with precision and accuracy.
• Maintain integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
• Exercise judgment and demonstrate technical skills to perform duties unsupervised.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Organize and prioritize tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program, focusing on echocardiography.
• Completion of a recognized course in arrhythmia detection.
• Minimum of 2 years of current experience as a registered echocardiography technician.
• Certification required: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).
• CPR certification required; AHA & ARC accepted.

Schedule

This position operates a 4x10 hour schedule from Monday to Friday.
