Description

Operating Room/Circulator Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift Information

Days and varied evenings; options available for scheduling:

Four 10-hour shifts: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Five 8-hour shifts: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, or 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Weekend call rotation occurs every fifth weekend, along with one weeknight call per week.

Job Responsibilities

The Operating Room/Circulator Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

Providing direct nursing care to surgical patients in the operating room.
Collaborating with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Preparing and maintaining the operating room environment for surgical procedures.
Monitoring patients' vital signs and responding to changing conditions during procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting.
Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS/BCLS.

Additional Information

Holiday coverage may be required as part of the operational needs of the facility. The role includes participating in an on-call rotation.
