Shift Information
This position requires a commitment to night shifts from 1830 to 0700, working 12-hour shifts with a total of 36 hours per week. There is an opportunity to pick up extra shifts as needed.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in the Emergency Department. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in emergency nursing, demonstrating the ability to work effectively as a team player. This role involves providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department setting.
- Current Washington State nursing license or multi-state license.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
- Completion of a 6-hour suicide training program.
- Verification of demographics from Nursys.
- Knowledge of Meditech is beneficial but not required.
Additional Requirements
- Must be a proactive team player with a solid understanding of emergency nursing practices.
- Must have approved time off (RTO) pre-approved and noted at the end of the contract.
- Full availability for scheduling is essential.
- Holiday coverage is required.
Location
This position is located near breathtaking Pacific Northwest beaches and the Olympic National Forest.
