Registered Nurse (RN) - MS/Tele

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med-Surg/Telemetry to join our team in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Shift Details

Schedule: 3x12 hours, Night shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Floating required based on unit needs
Weekend coverage: Every other weekend, with variations based on unit needs

Essential Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on the LTAC unit
Utilize the medication system (Omnicell) for medication administration and management
Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
Implement and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience in LTAC, Med-Surg, and Telemetry nursing
At least 1 year of experience using EPIC electronic health record system
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Active South Carolina nursing license
Experience in MS and Progressive Care Units (PCU) is preferred

Notes

This position is suitable for both experienced travelers and candidates who are new to travel nursing, provided they meet the required experience criteria in the field.
