Description

Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide comprehensive services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT). The ideal candidate will assist patients in enhancing and regaining functional independence, adhering to state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

Implement therapy interventions as directed in the OT plan of care.
Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist in patient and family education related to therapy and care.
Communicate the status and progress of patients to the supervising OT.
Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Active state COTA license (or ability to obtain).
Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
