Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a med-surg float role, overseeing patient needs and coordinating care across multiple units. This position requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances within a fast-paced environment.

Shift Information

• 12-hour day shifts
• 48-hour guaranteed work week
• Overtime billed after 48 hours
• Every other weekend and holiday availability required as necessary

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients and engage in patient and family education.
• Provide leadership by working collaboratively with ancillary staff and maintaining professional nursing standards within the clinical setting.
• Float between various units as needed, potentially working in stepdown and med-surg departments.
• Administer cardiac drips and perform other duties associated with stepdown patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience.
• Experience with electronic medical records; familiarity with EPIC is preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.
• Must possess a valid New Hampshire nursing license prior to employment.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are required.
• Applicants must have a permanent address submitted with their profile and should possess their own vehicle.
• All medical and occupational health compliance items must be completed and confirmed within specified time frames after offer acceptance.

Additional Information

Professional attire is expected; travelers will need to wear provided scrubs without logos. Orientation and training will not be billable.
