Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Clinician to provide high-quality care for patients in a dynamic Level I Emergency Department setting. This role involves caring for patients who are admitted and awaiting bed availability, either in a designated area or possibly in the hallway. In the absence of boarded patients, team members may also assist in acute care areas, although this scenario is expected to be rare.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients in the Emergency Department, including those awaiting bed assignments.
- Assist in acute care areas as directed, when boarding patients are not present.
- Participate in a collaborative team environment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain current certifications and adhere to clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Be available for shifts every other weekend and on certain holidays as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department or Medical Surgical Telemetry.
- ACLS certification is required.
- Willingness to float within scope to meet facility needs.
- Consideration for first-time applicants based on relevant experience will be made.
- Pending licenses will not be accepted; candidates must have an active and unrestricted license.
Schedule
Flexible scheduling is available, with an openness to accommodating block schedules when possible.
