Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) with a strong background in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation, specifically focused on post-operative hand and wrist care. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in both dynamic and static custom-fabrication of orthoses. A Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential is preferred.

Shift Information

• Day Shift
• Monday to Thursday: 8:40 AM - 4:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries involving the hand and wrist.
• Fabricate dynamic and static orthoses tailored to individual patient needs.
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic practices and self-care techniques.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Occupational Therapy registration and credentials.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic post-operative care for hand and wrist patients.
• Proven skills in custom orthosis fabrication.
• Certification as a Hand Therapist (CHT) is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and patient needs.
