Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position involves providing high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and be able to collaborate effectively with surgical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the CVOR setting.
• Assist with surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor and assess patient health status before, during, and after procedures.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapies as needed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Fulfill call requirements as scheduled, including two weekdays and 1-2 weekends every six-week period.

Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in CVOR or a related specialty.
• Strong assessment, organizational, and communication skills.

Work Schedule:

• Shift: 4x10 Days (06:00 - 16:30)
• Call Requirement: At least two days per week and 1-2 weekends every six-week rotation.
• Guaranteed hours: The facility may call off 1 shift every two weeks.

Additional Information:

• All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission and will be approved based on departmental needs.
• Free parking is available for staff.
• All contracted staff may be required to float to other units or locations based on patient census and staff needs while ensuring competencies are observed.
