Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our healthcare team. This position involves delivering high-quality respiratory care to patients with a variety of needs, including emergency department cases and inpatient transport to tertiary care centers.

Shift Schedule

• 4x12 Hour Nights (Wednesday - Saturday)
• Total of 48 hours per week
• Weekend requirements: Every weekend

Dress Code

Employees are required to wear scrubs of any color, along with closed-toe shoes. Use of perfume or cologne is not permitted.

Patient Care Responsibilities

The typical therapist-to-patient ratio is 1:5 or 1:6. Responsibilities include:

• Providing respiratory therapy to various patient populations.
• Management of ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, and other respiratory support devices.
• Collaboration with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of current acute care experience is required.
• Previous travel experience is highly preferred.
• High degree of proficiency in operating ventilators.
• Experience with HHN, BiPAP, and CPAP is required.

Certifications and Licenses

• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Active NBRC or CRT certification.
• New Hampshire Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) licensure is required; candidates must be willing to apply for a temporary license upon offer.
