We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our Float Pool team. This position requires flexibility to float throughout various departments within the facility, including the Emergency Department, ER hold, Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Stepdown/PCU units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in multiple areas of the hospital as needed.
• Adhere to established protocols and guidelines while delivering nursing services.
• Maintain compliance with safety and health regulations.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.

Work Schedule:

• Shifts: Night shifts, 3x12-hour format (19:00 - 07:00).
• Must be flexible to facility scheduling; no specific schedule requests can be accommodated.
• Every other weekend commitment is required.

Call Requirements:

• No call requirements for this position.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted.
• Current nursing license in good standing.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Holidays:

Travelers are expected to work major holidays as follows:

• One major holiday during the assignment period: expected to work.
• Two major holidays: expected to work both.
• Three major holidays: expected to work two out of the three.

Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day.

Compliance:

Full compliance is required to start on time. Non-compliance may push back the start date by two weeks due to a bi-weekly orientation schedule.

Additional Information:

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate.
• The number of non-billable orientation hours is determined by the contract length (e.g., 8 hours for 8-week assignments, 10 hours for 10-week assignments).
