Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Surgical/Telemetry Float Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The successful candidate will provide quality patient care across various units, ensuring the highest standards of nursing practice.
Shift Information
- Schedule: 3x12 Hour Shifts
- Shift Timings: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
- Every other weekend required
- Holidays as necessary
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
- Completion of at least one travel assignment preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification preferred
- Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a perfect score of 100% on lethal rhythms
Job Responsibilities
The Medical Surgical/Telemetry Float RN will be responsible for:
- Providing direct patient care in various units, adapting to different patient acuity levels.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Monitoring and interpreting patient data to assess and address health needs.
- Administering medications and treatments as per established protocols.
- Maintaining up-to-date clinical knowledge and competencies.
Additional Requirements
- This position requires floating to different units as per skillset and patient acuity.
- All employees are required to receive the Flu vaccine.
