Description

Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team. This role requires a dynamic and compassionate individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is skilled in handling a variety of patient cases across all age groups.

Position Details

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)
Hours: 36/48 hour options available
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required
Holiday Requirement: Required as scheduled
Patient Ratio: 1:4
Average Daily Census: 130 patients
Number of Beds: 47

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ER experience preferred; 1 year will be considered (first-time travelers with strong ER skills are welcome)
Licenses/Certifications:
- Registered Nurse in MD
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)

Patient Population

This position entails working with a diverse patient demographic, treating diagnoses across all age ranges, from infants to geriatric patients. The environment is fast-paced and involves managing complex medical conditions.

Additional Requirements

Floating within the specialty is required.
