Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

The Youth Recovery Center (YRC) is a specialized in-hospital residential treatment center dedicated to assisting adolescents aged 15-18 in overcoming addiction and addressing mental health challenges. We are seeking Registered Nurses with a passion for working with the adolescent population to support our mission and make a positive impact in the lives of young individuals.

Shift Information

This position entails working a 12-hour night shift, including rotating weekends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care and support to adolescents in a recovery setting.
  • Participate in recreation activities with clients.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Monitor and assess patients’ physical and mental health needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Qualifications

  • Current Colorado RN License.
  • Minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience, with at least two years in adolescent psychiatric or addiction nursing.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Completion of a fingerprint-based national criminal history check within the last 30 days.
  • Availability to work rotating weekends.
  • Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate 12-hour night shifts.
  • CAC certification is a plus.
  • Proof of current flu vaccination with no exemptions.
