Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, vascular, and OB/GYN scans. The position requires the ability to work independently and adapt to a variable schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, including general abdominal, vascular, and OB/GYN examinations.
• Ensure that all images are of high quality and meet the required diagnostic standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure its proper maintenance.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
• Participate in holiday coverage as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Double registered with ARDMS in ABD, Vascular, and OB/GYN.
• Required certifications: PALS, BLS/BCLS, ACLS.
• Allied Health Certifications including ARDMS(AB), ARDMS(BR), ARDMS(NE), ARDMS(OB), ARRT(R), ARRT(M), ARRT(CT), ARRT(MRI), ARRT(N), ARRT(RT), RDCS, RDCS(AE), RDCS(FE), RDCS(PE), and ARDMS(RVT).

Additional Information

The candidate must be able to work independently and manage a variable schedule. Holiday coverage is a requirement for this role.
