Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - OBGYN

Position Information

Specialty: LDRP
Number of Openings: 2
Shift: 5 PM - 5 AM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: 36 (every third weekend)
Call Requirements: No mandatory call above 36 hours. May have low census as per agreement, up to 3 shifts in 13 weeks.
Years of Experience: 2 or more
Float Requirements: Yes

Education & Certifications Required

Required Certifications: NRP, Advanced Fetal Monitoring
Education Modules: Consistent with similar skill set on the unit

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 11 rooms, 16 inpatient beds, plus crib beds for each
Patient Ratios: AWHONN standards
Equipment: OBTraceVue/Intellispace fetal monitoring, Philips fetal monitors, Plum pumps, Panda warmers
EMR: EPIC

Hiring Profile

Must Have Skills/Experience: LDRP
Preferred Skillset/Experience: Experience with antepartum through postpartum and newborns in a Level 1 nursery, occasional MS overflow patients
Personality Fit: Flexible, team player

Dress Code

Scrub Color: Any; most staff wear hospital-supplied scrubs

Miscellaneous Information

Average of over 500 deliveries per year. Tertiary care center is 30 minutes away; RNs may accompany transport of antepartum patients.
