Description
Seeking a skilled Endoscopy Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in Endoscopy nursing and will be committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
Position Details
- Shift: 5x8s, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend
- On-call Requirement: Approximately every third weekend and some weekday on-call shifts after 3 PM
- Response Time: Must stay within 30 minutes of the facility during on-call hours, with the option to stay on-site if preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Educate patients and their families about procedures, aftercare, and any potential risks.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in Epic.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Endoscopy nursing experience required.
- License: SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start.
- Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- First-timers: No first-time candidates accepted.

- Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital with 286 staffed beds.
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue.
- Parking: No cost for parking.
Travelers should note that during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. The hurricane season runs from June through November, with the peak months of activity occurring in August and September.
