Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team in the field of Radiation Oncology. The successful candidate will provide patient care by delivering radiation treatments in a compassionate and safe manner while adhering to established protocols and guidelines.

Shift Information

This position offers a flexible start time, ranging from as early as 6:30 AM to as late as 10:00 AM. The shift schedule will be for 5 days, covering 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians.
• Prepare patients for treatment and ensure comfort throughout the procedure.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of treatments and patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patients for side effects and reactions to therapy, providing education and support as needed.
• Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and report any issues immediately.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of radiation principles and safety protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
