Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide exceptional respiratory care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role requires a commitment to patient care and a collaborative approach to support clinical teams.

Shifts and Schedule

• Shift Type: Nights (3x12-Hour) from 19:00 to 07:00
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Work Schedule: Every other weekend
• Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays
• RTO around Christmas is not approved

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of the Registered Respiratory Therapist include:

• Administering respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed.
• Monitoring patient progress and adjustments in treatment plans.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Utilizing advanced respiratory equipment and technologies.

Qualifications

• Current RRT certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; candidates with 2+ years of experience may be considered.
• ACCS certification preferred.
• Must possess a valid Virginia license pending approval of a temporary license, along with another state license for eligibility.
