Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients in a clinical setting. This role requires flexibility and the ability to work various shifts, particularly nights.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and assess patient responses.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress through regular assessments.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and procedures.
• Participate in emergency response situations as necessary.

Shift Details

• Night shifts available - 3x12 hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00).
• Must work every other weekend and 2 out of 3 winter holidays.
• RTO around Christmas is not approved.

Qualifications

• Required: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Four years of experience in a respiratory therapy role is preferred; however, candidates with a minimum of two years of experience will be considered.
• ACCS certification is preferred.
• Must possess a valid state license for respiratory therapy. Candidates may be considered with a pending Virginia license, provided they can obtain a temporary license before starting.
• Must hold another state license to be eligible for temporary licensure.
