Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced, emergency department environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Perform necessary medical procedures including starting IVs and blood product administration.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions regularly.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with current NM licensure or pending license accepted upon submission.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an emergency department setting.
- Certification in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC required at the time of submission.
- Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center is preferred.
Additional Information
Ratios in the emergency department are 1:4. The position requires availability for at least 4 weekend shifts within each scheduling period, with flexibility based on department needs.
Work in a Level III Trauma Center that emphasizes high-quality patient care and staff collaboration. This community-based facility features a full-service emergency department but does not provide inpatient pediatric or OB services.
Please be aware that COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory, with exemptions available for religious and medical reasons upon completion of a specific exemption form, signed by a medical provider.
New contracts and extensions will be a minimum of 10 weeks in length. A 6-month break is required for any travelers who have completed 4 consecutive assignments or reached a one-year tenure, whichever occurs first.
This position does not require on-call responsibilities or floating outside the RN's scope of practice.
