Job Description
A qualified Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) is needed for a full-time position. The role requires a minimum of three years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department
- Assess patient needs and develop nursing care plans
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Participate in emergency response protocols and procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience is required
- Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 5 years is mandatory
- Oregon RN State License is required
- General Certifications:
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required or obtain within 6 months of hire
- AHA PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC card required or obtain within 1 year of hire
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) required or obtain within 1 year of hire
- Organizational approved workplace violence training required, to be completed by the last day of the month after a 90-day grace period
- CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) or equivalent certification is preferred
