Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Radiation Therapist to join our oncology team. This role is essential in delivering high-quality patient care through effective radiation therapy treatments. You will be responsible for performing treatment simulations, fabricating necessary shielding blocks, and maintaining accurate electronic medical records (EMR).
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver quality patient care through radiation therapy treatments.
- Perform treatment simulations and fabricate necessary shielding blocks.
- Maintain accurate EMR and other patient documentation.
- Prepare equipment for patient treatments and perform quality control tests.
- Ensure proper infection control techniques are followed.
- Adhere to radiation safety and protection practices.
- Collaborate with medical staff to promote interdisciplinary cooperation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist.
- Active registration with ARRT (T) with supporting documentation.
- At least 1 year of travel experience or relevant work experience with Varian and ARIA.
- Experience with TrueBeam, ARIA, and Trilogy is preferred.
- Current BLS certification (AHA).
Work Schedule
This position guarantees a 40-hour work week, with current shifts scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and the potential for a 4x10 schedule.
Attendance Policy
Please note that an attendance policy is in effect. Contractors who are absent from a scheduled shift or arrive more than 20 minutes late three times will face immediate termination unless valid documentation for absences due to communicable diseases or hospitalization is provided.

No weekend or on-call requirements are associated with this position.
