Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthopedic procedures, with additional expertise in trauma and general surgery considered a bonus.

Shift Information

• 10-hour Day Shift: 7 AM - 5 PM
• Required on-call: Two calls per month
• Requests for time off: No more than three consecutive days will be approved. All requests must be presented at the time of submission.

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts RN license
• BLS certification
• Orthopedic experience required, including orthotic trauma
• Experience with various surgical techniques and equipment is essential, including Endoscopic, Laser, ENT, Orthopedic, Plastic, Podiatry, Neuro, General, Thoracic, Urology, and Vascular procedures.
• Proven knowledge of aseptic techniques
• Travel experience is required

Testing Requirements

• Passing score of 85% on Dysrhythmia (20 questions) and Medication (20 questions) tests.
• Tests to be administered via Zoom Protector meeting.
• Completion of tests required within 48 hours of offer, with one attempt only to pass.

Additional Information

• Flu vaccination required prior to start; medical exemptions are acceptable.
• Local travelers (those residing within 50 miles of the facility) will not be considered.
• Candidates who have worked at this organization within the last six months will not be considered.
