Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position requires dedication to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients in medical-surgical or telemetry units.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring timely interventions.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Participate in self-scheduling while accommodating specific requests whenever possible.

Shift Details

Shifts available are 12 hours, either 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM. Nurses will be expected to work every other weekend and every other holiday. A maximum of three days of requested time off (RTO) is permitted.

Patient Ratios

• Medical-Surgical: 5:1 from 7 AM to 11 PM, 6:1 from 11 PM to 7 AM.
• Telemetry: 4:1 from 7 AM to 11 PM, 5:1 from 11 PM to 7 AM.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with active licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic healthcare team.
