The ICU Registered Nurse is responsible for providing specialized care to critically ill patients in an intensive care unit environment. This role requires strong clinical judgment, advanced assessment skills, and the ability to perform complex interventions to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient condition continuously, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment plans.
• Document all patient interactions and care in electronic health records accurately and timely.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols in the ICU.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience in ICU or critical care nursing is highly desirable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

Shift Information

This position requires night shifts consisting of 3 twelve-hour shifts per week (19:00 - 07:30).

Work Schedule

The role does not follow a block scheduling system.
