Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care within a telemetry unit.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the medical/surgical telemetry setting.
Monitor vital signs and interpret telemetry readings.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-care procedures.
Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with established protocols.

Qualifications

Minimum of 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience is required.
A valid and active Ohio nursing license or compact state license is mandatory.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.

Schedule & Duration

This position is for day shifts with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. The expected start date for this role is October 23, 2026, with a duration of 13 weeks.
