We are seeking a dedicated Staff Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive patient care within a Med/Surg Telemetry setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and develop individualized care plans.
• Assess patient conditions, administer treatments and medications, and monitor patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families to ensure quality care delivery.
• Deliver patient education, health counseling, and effective discharge planning.
• Practice within the Ohio RN scope of practice and established nursing standards.
• Recognize and respond to patient complications and changes in condition.
• Supervise and delegate appropriate nursing tasks while maintaining accountability for patient care.
• Ensure patient safety, confidentiality, and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Ohio.
• A minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Experience in providing patient-centered care and managing multiple priorities.
• Commitment to patient safety, quality outcomes, and professional nursing standards.
• Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5, with flexibility to adjust to 1:6 as needed.
• Experience with care levels appropriate for telemetry to PCU is preferred.

Shift Information:

• Day Shift: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
• 36 hours per week, with every other weekend required.
• No holiday coverage required.

Additional Information:

• Experience with EPIC and Pyxis is preferred, with training provided.
• Required certifications include ACLS and BLS.
