Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift Information

Night shift: 7 PM - 7 AM with on-call requirements.

Minimum Experience Required

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant field is required.

Certifications and Requirements

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Basic Life Support/Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS/BCLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Position Overview

This role involves providing care for patients in Telemetry and Med-Surg units during the night shift. Set schedules are provided for enhanced work-life balance.

Preferred Experience

Experience in Med-Surg settings
Telemetry experience
Step down experience is preferred but not required

Equipment Knowledge

Electronic Medical Record: Meditech
Infusion Pumps: Alaris
Medication Dispensing: Omnicell

Patient Ratios

Med-Surg/Observation: 1:6
Step Down: 1:4

Miscellaneous Information

Cancellations: This position can be canceled up to 3 times during the contract period.
Call: Opportunities may be available to take call during low census times as part of the rotation with full-time staff.
Holiday coverage is required.
