Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in managing patient care and ensuring the highest level of patient safety and well-being.

Position Information

• Department: P3CD
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Shift: Day
• Float Requirements: As needed
• Years of Experience: 2+

Education & Certifications Required

• Required Certifications: BLS, RN License

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 29
• EMR: Epic

Key Responsibilities

• Manage chronic illness and disability needs of patients.
• Conduct daily physical assessments and assessments during changes in patient status.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Update and review care plans weekly.
• Provide ongoing patient education and ensure it is updated weekly.
• Document clinical notes as needed.
• Ensure patient safety and advocate for the well-being of patients.

Qualifications

• Must Have Skills/Experience:
  • Ability to manage chronic illnesses and disabilities effectively.
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience in medication administration and documentation.
• Preferred Skillset/Experience:
  • Experience in med/surg nursing.
• Personality Fit:
  • Compassionate, dedicated, and patient-centered approach.
