Job Overview
An opportunity exists for an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join a dynamic team, providing critical care in a fast-paced environment. This role requires commitment to excellence, adaptability, and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
Schedule
- Night Shift: Options for 3x12 or 4x12 hour schedules
- Every other weekend and holiday required
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Perform triage and assess patients in critical condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Float within skillset as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department with at least 45,600 annual visits.
- Current certifications required:
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
- PALS
- Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80%, including a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.
- Cerner EMR experience is required.
- Triage experience is preferred.
- Previous travel nursing experience is required.
Additional Requirements
- All employees must receive the Flu vaccine.
