Description

Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Clinical Decisions unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical-surgical nursing with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
Monitor patient status and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment options.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in a Clinical Decisions unit or related area.
Kansas or compact nursing license required.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification can be pending; must be willing to obtain prior to start.

Work Schedule

The position requires night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week from 19:00 to 07:00. There are no block schedules available.

Job Duration

This is a 13-week contract position with a potential for extension based on performance and facility needs.
