Shift Information

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Job Overview

We are seeking a full-time Surgical Technologist for a contract position lasting a minimum of 13 weeks. Candidates should possess experience in various surgical specialties.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in various surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including:

General Surgery
Orthopedics
ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat)
OBGYN (Obstetrics and Gynecology)
Podiatry
Urology
Dental

Requirements

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
Certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred
State of Iowa Mandatory Reporter training
Current American Heart Association BLS certification
Willingness to stay within 30 minutes of the facility when on-call

Schedule

This position primarily involves 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday. Hours may vary slightly based on surgical caseload, with the possibility of starting as early as 6:00 AM. The role includes participation in an on-call rotation, approximately one night every two weeks, and one weekend every five to six weeks. Holiday call rotation is also included.
