Description

Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) to join our team. This position involves working in a variety of settings, including critical care and general care, with adults and pediatric patients, including NICU experience. The ideal candidate should be able to adapt and float between units as needed.

Shift Details

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
Days: Weekdays with some weekends required

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive respiratory care to patients of all ages.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Administer respiratory therapies and interventions according to established protocols.
Perform assessments and monitor patient progress.
Float to various units as necessary to meet the needs of the facility.

Qualifications

Required: 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NALS (Neonatal Advanced Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
Pediatric and NICU experience is preferred.
Open to first-time travelers.
Pending state license accepted.

Additional Information

Guaranteed hours: 72-80 per pay period.
Charting: Cerner.
Scrub color: Provided.
Free parking for all staff.
Requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted two weeks prior to the next schedule and are subject to manager approval.
