Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift Details

Shift: 18:45 - 07:15
Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts
Weekend Coverage: Every Other

Float Requirements

Float is required; nurses may be floated to other units based on need and skill set.

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of EPIC experience required.

Stroke/TIA
Seizure
Syncope
Pneumonia (PNA)
Chest Pain
Dialysis
Acute Kidney Failure
Post Heart Catheterization
Respiratory Failure
Encephalopathy
Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)
Sepsis

Special Procedures/Unit Details

This unit specializes in the inpatient care for stroke and TIA patients, also accommodating higher acuity medical-surgical patients. We emphasize patient experience and are equipped to perform peritoneal dialysis and continuous bladder irrigation.

Certifications Required

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Licensure Requirements

A valid and active Registered Nurse license in Tennessee is required.

Additional Notes

First-time travelers are not eligible for this position.
At least 1 year of clinical experience required.
