Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Information

Shift: 3x12 Nights (18:45 - 07:15)
Weekend coverage: Every other weekend with potential changes based on department needs.

Key Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Provide emergency care to patients dealing with life-threatening injuries and illnesses.
Utilize medication and documentation systems effectively, including Omnicell and EPIC.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
Float to other units as necessary based on departmental requirements.

Qualifications

Active Tennessee Registered Nurse license.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Emergency Room (ER) setting.
1 year of experience using EPIC required.
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CPI, PALS.
TNCC certification preferred.
